Wow! It’s been awhile since I’ve last posted, so sorry about that. This time last year, I was working hard one an awesome autumn color palette post and was so excited, but I was also struggling. In September 2019 I hit a low point with my mental health and needed to apply all my focus to getting better. Which also meant taking a break from this blog and crochet in general. Thankfully, I’ve been able to improve and I’m able to get back to what brings me joy: Creating and sharing.
Well, with that said, here’s what you have to look forward to in the coming months!
Bows and Gift Toppers
Have you ever worked so hard on a crochet project for someone only to finish and not know how to wrap it?
Friend, do not worry.
Ya gal here worked 8 years wrapping presents in a greeting card shop and I’m going to show you all my secrets. Or at least, how to put a bow on it.
Also, if you aren’t familiar with gift toppers they are about to be your new best friend!
Etsy Store and Patterns
I love designing blankets and I’m sending out my patterns for testing. As long as it takes for me to make them it takes just as long time to test them! And during a pandemic, testers are having some trouble getting supplies.
But that’s OK. Patience is a virtue, afterall.
Once I get a few patterns tested, they’ll go up on my (soon to be operational) Etsy store. Maybe a few products, too. You’ll have to wait and see!
Videos and YouTube Channel
What better way is there to share what you know in this digital age than creating videos!
What colors work best together so I can make that awesome hat?
Lemme show you.
How do I wrap a blanket I made to gift for the holidays?
Oh, yes. I can teach you.
Whatever I know, I’m so happy to share.
Not much, right? Doing all that and also getting back to writing blog posts. It’s a lot, but I’m honestly so glad to be making again and can’t wait to have some fun with y’all.
